948 Union Street, Arcata
Sunday, September 1, 12-3 pm
Join us for our fifth Garden Gathering Sunday, September 13, at the home of Gary Glassman in Arcata!
Our second-to-last gathering for the season will be a fantastic opportunity to seek inspiration from the amazing orchard and organic vegetable garden Gary has grown over the last 22 years!
Come see how he has managed to fit 14 apple trees with 30 heirloom varieties on this small city lot! While there, you can also sample some of the varieties, and learn about Gary’s expertise in apple tree grafting, coastal tomato varieties, hot peppers and having year round salad from the garden.
Directions & parking: Parking along Union Street is limited, please try to carpool if possible.
Please note: This gathering will include access on the sidewalk and a flat driveway, with narrow paths in the garden. Please use the restroom prior to coming, as there will not be one available.
Can’t make it but want to learn more about what Gary grows? Follow him on instagram @gary.glassman.3 and be sure to check out his Dr. G’s Mumbo Sauce and other chili products, which can be found at Sea Goat Farmstand!
